Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Reportedly Offering PlayStation 5 Remaster Of Its 2018 Predecessor

Since the game’s announcement over a month ago, the story was not really straight on the coming project from developer Insomniac Games on its PlayStation 5 launch title, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. In that, it wasn’t until the weekend following that the firm had to clarify that the game would be arriving to the next-generation console as a standalone entry rather than a full on sequel that the trailer led on to believe.

But following the news settling and more information released on the project, Insomniac Games disclosed that the coming project would push the boundaries of next-generation gaming as the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales would ship with 4K resolution output and 60 frames per second performance. But now, it looks that doesn’t end there for what else the new title offers.

According to Reddit poster 77good123, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will offer a remastered version of the titular 2018 title, Marvel’s Spider-Man. The user learned this information through the latest issue of Game Informer that shipped this month.

Miles Morales isn’t a traditional sequel as it comes bundled with a remastered version of Insomniac’s Spider-Man that takes full advantage of the PS5 hardware.

While the new information has not been spared officially by either Insomniac Games nor Sony Interactive Entertainment as of yet, it is presumed that the announcement would be saved for a coming State of Play presentation. The next virtual showcase has been previously reported to possibly land on August 6th.

In addition to the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales becoming a forerunner for the PlayStation 5, Sony Interactive Entertainment used the opportunity for the game to pose as a base to showcase the packaging for the PlayStation 5.
