Yes, Microsoft even years following the launch of the Xbox Series X|S is still riding on the promise that games to drive users for its platform are on the way. Many of the same titles teased back during that infamous 2020 presentation are still underway. One notorious release is Playground Games’ Fable. A lot has developer for the game since. One fact being the title is developed utilizing ForzaTech Engine; the same proprietary engine used for Forza Horizon.
Additionally, the developer also recruited Eidos-Montreal to assist in the development. Other uncertainty was thrown at the title with one rumor stating development was restarted with a new release window aimed for 2024. And as concerns swelled, producer on the game Vijay Gill told the game is in a playable state which does satisfy some lingering anxiety for fans.
Now it appears the long wait is soon to be behind us. At lease, fans will have an update to enjoy come this June. On Twitter, the official Xbox account uploaded a new video with a literal trailer of glitter hinting ‘something’ is coming. As many are aware, Microsoft has scheduled its Xbox Games Showcase for this coming June 11th. Not only are fans receiving a presentation on the upcoming roadmap for Xbox and its connected ecosystem, but also a dedicated Starfield presentation follows the event that same afternoon.
