Madden NFL 24 Cover Athlete Features Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen, Cross-Play Confirmed For All Platforms

The past few months regarding Electronic Arts’ EA Sports has gained an excessive number of attention despite hardly its full lineup being announced. Earlier in 2023, Electronic Arts confirmed that FIFA will be no more as EA Sports FC will instead be the new namesake for its soccer/futbol title. It confirmed more details is planned to be shared come this July.

Additionally, its first entry part of Electronic Arts from Metal Head Software is Super Mega Baseball 4. Although not extremely grounded like its other athletic counterparts, the new title does have ‘EA Sports’ slapped on the front when it shipped earlier in June. And some details on a John Madden film was reported recently with Will Farrell said to star in the upcoming picture as well.

Now from Electronic Arts, it revealed the cover athlete for Madden NFL 24 will be Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen to star on the box art for the newest entry. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“As a fan of Madden NFL since childhood, I’m honored to be the first Buffalo Bills player on the cover, and I wouldn’t have gotten here without the support of my team and Bills Mafia. Superstar and mini-games are back in Madden, and I’m really excited for fans to see how the experiences have evolved,” the Bills quarterback said in a statement. Madden NFL 24 also features a new SAPIEN technology alongside the imbedded FieldSense tech.

“We set a new foundation for football gameplay with the introduction of FieldSENSE last year, which was one of the best-selling years in Madden NFL franchise history, and we’re going even deeper in the areas our fans want most in Madden NFL 24,” Madden NFL senior producer Mike Mahar explains.

“We’ve added more ways to play with mini-games and Superstar, more realism through FieldSENSE, deeper immersion with dozens of foundational football improvements and the introduction of SAPIEN Technology – all of which bring the game closer to what fans see from the NFL.” Madden NFL 24 is also the first title to feature full-length cross-play between all versions of Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
