Nintendo has released its financial results for the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2024 and the game sales continue to rise for Nintendo Switch. As of December 31, 2023, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom has sold 20.28 million units as it still trails Super Mario Party which is at 20.34 million units.

The one game that has yet to slow down is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as it reached 60 million units sold since its release on April 28, 2017.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues to sell and hits 44 million units sold and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate reaches 33 million.

What’s next for Nintendo in 2024?

Nintendo plans to have an eventful year with Mario vs Donkey Kong releasing on February 16 and at some point they will release Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remaster for Nintendo Switch. Princess Peach Showtime releases on March 22, 2024, for the Switch as well.
