
For decades, Capcom has shaped much of the industry from its arcade cabinets to major releases on home consoles. And now after generations of releases, its legacy is being adapted to modern hardware. We’ve witnessed this with both Capcom Arcade Stadium & Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. The same can also be said for Capcom Fighting Collection more recently.

During the Nintendo Direct this week, Capcom announced yet another legacy collection – MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:
“Seven beloved arcade classics, including X-MEN VS. STREET FIGHTER, MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2 New Age of Heroes and more, are back to duke it out on Nintendo Switch!” the synopsis reveals. In total, there are 7 games to play with X-MEN CHILDREN OF THE ATOM. MARVEL SUPER HEROES, X-MEN VS. STREET FIGHTER, MARVEL SUPER HEROES vs. STREET FIGHTER, MARVEL vs. CAPCOM CLASH OF SUPER HEROES,MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2 New Age of Heroes, and THE PUNISHER.
“This collection features iconic characters and moves, along with added features and enhancements like online functionality**, training modes, custom matches, spectator features, museum, a music player, display filters and one-button special moves, just to name a few!
