The Xbox Game Pass lineup remains one of the most consistent aspects for Microsoft. Although the Xbox firm is opening the floodgates to its IPs on PlayStation like Gears of War & Hellblade II, there is at least certainty that its subscription will be rich in games as well. The most recent addition included the likes of Doom: The Dark Ages & Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 then.
Additionally, Xbox Game Pass is not exactly for everyone. In an interview, Phil Spencer elaborated it’s for avid players – not users dipping in for a game or two. “If you play one or two games a year, Game Pass probably isn’t the right business model for you, you should just buy those two games, and that would make total sense,” Spencer told Variety.
Now well into the latter half of May 2025, there is a new lineup on the horizon for Xbox Game Pass. You can read the full list below:

As for the departing titles for Xbox Game Pass in this new update, they exit on May 31st. Those games being Cassette Beasts (Cloud; Console; PC), Firework (PC), Humanity (Cloud; Console, PC), Remnant 2 (Cloud; Console; PC), and Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer (Cloud; Console; PC).
