Over on Xbox in the past month, users witnessed more effective updates roll out for its hardware to better the experience for avid players. So far, one major improvement to its platform is the update to the respected Xbox controllers. In that, cross-device connectivity is added alongside reduced latency for button pressing and stick response time which is duly noted as well.

Elsewhere, while not a update to say is a cool finding nonetheless. From Xbox fan on Twitter @XboxJuan4K, he uncovered that the Xbox Elite 2 Controller can offer RGB settings for the glowing logo at the top of the gamepad. Even more, when changing the color and saving the setting, it will remain once reconnecting to an Xbox console.

From this week, Microsoft announces that the next update for Xbox is to roll out which will introduce the previously reported Microsoft Edge Chromium alongside adjustments to the Xbox app.

The latest version of Microsoft Edge will be available on all Xbox consoles. This update will bring you the best of the web, with improved web standards and a fast, secure, and modern browsing experience right from your console. You’ll also enjoy a more streamlined gaming experience across your signed-in devices.

If a game opens a new window on Microsoft Edge for hints or guides, send that tab to another signed-in device so you can continue gaming on your console seamlessly. This update also comes with mouse and sync support, so you can manage your profile settings easily within Microsoft Edge on your Xbox console.

Additionally, the team addresses a new ‘Play Later’ list also coming to Xbox. “With Play Later discovery, you can curate your own list of titles from over 100 high-quality games in the Xbox Game Pass library. See a game that looks interesting? Just save it to your list and play it later. If there’s nothing on your list yet, we’ll show you how to use it and provide some personalized recommendations for games to add your list.”

Previously, it was told that Discord alongside Stadia is accessed through this new version if Microsoft Edge via Chromium. However, The Verge in a recent post explains the ability to use a microphone on Discord via Chromium on Xbox is still not available. But, PlayStation owners are to soon find a dedicated version later on in 2022. You can read the full report by heading here.
