Although Minecraft Dungeons spins-off the original Minecraft IP, developer Mojang Studios utilizes the new experience to push the envelope for the future of gaming. Previously, a report from Windows Central reveals that the game being the test subject for touch screen controls on xCloud illustrates there is roughly 40 percent of players that solely used the peripheral over a controller. Moving forward, xCloud continues to implement more controls for the service.
As for the game itself, Mojang Studios is not done with the 2020 release just yet. It was not too long before that the team delivered the ‘Echoing Void’ add-on for the game. Additionally, cloud saves for the game was also implemented which further bridges users across all platforms to play the way they want with no restrictions.
For new content underway for Minecraft Dungeons, Mojang Studios during Minecraft Live 2021 announced that ‘Seasonal Adventures’ is coming to the game later this year. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:
“The first season will be Cloudy Climb, which also introduces the Tower and the Adventure Hub. This doesn’t just bring fancy new architecture into the world of Dungeons, but also a whole new way to enjoy the game!” a synapse for the first addition of the new initiative reads from the Minecraft Live 2021 rundown.
Also from Minecraft Live 2021, Mojang Studios goes on to feature the new plans for Minecraft, The Wild Update. Similar to the Cliffs & Caves Update on the way, the new title update is from the previous biome vote and will expand upon including frogs, new trees for the swamp, mud, and boats with chests.
