More Xbox Announcements To Continue On June 17 During ‘Xbox Games Showcase: Extended’

Of course, this Sunday stood to be a major moment for Microsoft to truly showcase its plans for the future in regards to its current platform. While Xbox Series X|S are presented to be the new forefront for the industry, the two models still lack the software to properly showcase the capabilities of the new era for console hardware or truly draw a reason to buy one in contrast to competing systems.

Amid the announcements, ones that can be easily picked out is the multiplayer presentation for Halo Infinite. While brief, there is plenty of information that can be cherry picked from the footage. Additionally, the closing announcement ‘Redfall’ is another eye-opener for excited fans with the new Arkane Studios project confirmed to be exclusive to Xbox.

However, the announcements do not stop there. According to Kinda Funny Xcast’s and Gamertag Radio’s Parris Lilly on Twitter, he will be hosting the upcoming ‘Xbox Games Showcase: Extended’ which will offer interviews for upcoming developers on the Xbox side of things.

Namely, the podcast host issued that major teams including Ninja Theory, Double Fine Productions, and Obsidian Entertainment will be present to answer questions. However, he also indicates that other teams “from around the world” will be attending the show as well. So there is the possibility additional teams outside of Xbox Game Studios will be present also.

Most notably from Microsoft is the announcement following its Xbox-Bethesda E3 Showcase: the official release date for the Xbox Series X mini fridge. In that, the miniature home appliance is told to ship later in holiday 2021. You can read the full report by heading here.
