“Xbox and chill” reads the new announcement from Microsoft in regards to its forthcoming gag. Well, it is more real than we would ever have thought. In that, the aftermath of Xbox overtaking Skittle in the previous #BestofTweets Brand Competition on Twitter, General Manager Aaron Greenberg promised to officially produce mini fridges made from the shape of the system to reward its supporters.
But, this is not the first instance of an Xbox Series X mini fridge. Of course, the partnership with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson-founded energy drink producer ZOA unveiled a limited-time appliance for a giveaway. But even prior to that one fan on YouTube displayed their devotion to the new system by developing their own unit as well.
On Sunday following the Xbox-Bethesda E3 Showcase, Microsoft revealed a new trailer for the machine which you can view in the video below:
Obviously, this will now be the second home appliance from Microsoft in the last year. Previously, the firm went the lengths to create a full-size refrigerator to the likeness of the Xbox Series X. Alongside giving several units to internet influencers and personalities, Microsoft also held a separate giveaway for one lucky fan to obtain the unit as well at the time.
Elsewhere today, Microsoft alongside 343 Industries presented more footage for the highly-anticipated Halo Infinite. In particular, the pair offered an extended look at the multiplayer for the 2021 release. You can read the full report by heading here.
