NetherRealm Studios will be hosting a Mortal Kombat 1 panel at San Diego Comic-Con this week. The panel is titled “Resetting Mortal Kombat – A New Beginning With Mortal Kombat 1”. The title doesn’t reveal much since we know Mortal Kombat 1 will be a reboot of the franchise. This panel will take place on Friday, July 21 from 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM ET / 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM PT.
The official Mortal Kombat Twitter account says “Join us Friday for a panel you won’t want to miss”. Our assumption more new reveals will come for Mortal Kombat 1 including characters and other new features it’ll have to offer.

The latest rumor is Homelander will come to Mortal Kombat 1 at some point. Could San Diego Comic-Con be the place to make that announcement? One thing that’s for sure is that fans are excited for this new era of Mortal Kombat.
Mortal Kombat 1 comes to Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 19, 2023. Hopefully you have space for Mortal Kombat 1 on your PC or console because it’s going to require a minimum of 100GB to install.
Bandai Namco will have a large presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 with Tekken 8 being playable at the event.
