About Netflix, the entertainment streaming service these past few years continues to insert itself into the video game sphere with film adaptations and connected television shows. Most recently, however, Netflix has quietly orchestrated its plans to officially enter the industry through its monthly subscription plan. Promised to be at no additional cost, the firm would deliver a lineup of games for free.

Already, Netflix did a soft launch for ‘Netflix Games’ on Android in Poland, Italy, and Spain. But beyond that, it is uncertain when that will develop into a full-on release. The same can be said for the titles available at the time. Moreover, iOS is also absent from the equation currently which also brings that a separate version is underway internally at the firm.

On Wednesday, Netflix is officially launching Netflix Games for Android. Essentially, a new tab will appear on the Netflix app from the Google Play Store which will offer a brief selection of titles to play directly from the client. Here is the full list confirmed for the release below:

Stranger Things: 1984
Stranger Things 3: The Game
Shooting Hoops
Card Blast
Teeter Up

“We love games, whether it’s physical games (Floor Is Lava), mind games (The Circle) or Squid Game. And we love entertaining our members. That’s why we’re excited to take our first step in launching Netflix games on mobile to the world,” Netflix Game Development Vice President Mike Verdu says.

“Just like our series, films and specials, we want to design games for any level of play and every kind of player, whether you’re a beginner or a lifelong gamer. Adding, “And we’re just getting started. We’re excited to continue improving our mobile gaming experience and adding to our entertainment offering in the months ahead.”

Elsewhere recently, Netflix announced to be acquiring Oxenfree, Afterparty developer Night School Studios. Although clarification on its plans for the Californian team is unclear, it will surely be enticing to discover the projects that come from the game studio.
