Actor Henry Cavill who is casted to play The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia for the already announced show on Netflix recently revealed that the coming series has officially finished production. Cavill on Instagram posted a picture of himself as the makeup for the character is being removed off him has shared that the last piece of filming has been completed as the series now enters post-production.
“Season 1 of The Witcher has finally come to an end. And although I’m pulling a face here it has been an incredible journey!”
Cavill adds on: “A game to set and I couldn’t be more proud of you all. Speaking of my immediate team.”
Back in April, it was reported by Variety that the series based on CD Projekt Red’s adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s series of novels that the show is aimed to release some time later in the Fall of 2019. Details on when exactly has still yet to be revealed from Netflix on the forthcoming show.
Seemingly, it looks that now that filming has wrapped up and the series will finally start taking form, we should expect a trailer showcasing what the show will be about in the coming weeks.
