New The Medium Trailer Shares Release Date For December 10th

Since the announcement of Bloober Team’s The Medium, pieces of the game came out gradually revealing more on what to expect on the next-generation unique title. The game coning from the studio responsible for Observer & Layers of Fear, players were interested as to where this newest release will be taken to push the envelope of video game horror.

It wasn’t until this most recent July that screenshots for the game were listed prematurely sharing a glimpse at the gameplay itself for The Medium. In that, it was illustrated that the new project will offer two scenarios simultaneously that is only possible on the newer hardware systems. Players will control protagonist Maryanne and her other world projection at the same time in real-time.

Now in the latest trailer shared by Bloober Team, the developer uploaded the release date trailer sharing The Medium will be arriving in the second week of December. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“Discover a dark mystery only a medium can solve. Explore the real world and the spirit world at the same time,” the synapse from the trailer’s descriptions shares about the game. Use your psychic abilities to solve puzzles spanning both worlds, uncover deeply disturbing secrets, and survive encounters with The Maw – a monster born from an unspeakable tragedy.”

When speaking with GameSpot around the same time the game’s listing went up, Bloober Team explained the reasoning for the game’s exclusivity to next-gen hardware. Prior to the official reveal of the dual worlds in The Medium, Producer Zecek Zieba tells that the team is utilizing the extra amount of hardware resilience of the new systems.
