Nintendo’s next console is expected to launch in 2024

The battle between Microsoft and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) was ongoing for many months and it came to an end. Court documents revealed information regarding Nintendo’s upcoming plans. The documents show that Microsoft predicts Nintendo is planning to release the next Nintendo console sometime in 2024.

It wouldn’t be shocking if that’s the case since many rumors have suggested that’s the plan. Originally, a mid-generation Nintendo Switch was planned, but Nintendo is working on their next generation console.

Recently, Nintendo President confirmed their new console will feature support for the same account making it an easy transition from the Switch. Microsoft won the FTC battle as Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley denied the Federal Trade Commission request to block the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. The case revealed Sony is planning to release a PlayStation 5 Slim this Holiday season.
