October 2021’s Xbox Games With Gold Welcomes Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, And More

Over on the Xbox landscape, the platform continues to welcome an abundance of games for its Xbox Game Pass service. Just this month, September 2021 featured a fruitful helping of releases such as Final Fantasy XIII and The Artful Escape at the start of the month. As per usual, the second periodical increment of games went on to feature the likes of SkateBIRD and Sable later on.

As for the system’s Xbox Games with Gold free offerings, the past monthly helpings appears to be welcoming which is a surprise to say the least. In that, the platform welcomed Darksiders III, Yooka-Laylee, and Lost Planet 3 for August last month. In September, subscribers went on to receive Warhammer: Chaosbane and Samurai Showdown II.

For October, Microsoft is grasping releases from both Capcom and Konami with exciting additions coming then. Starting October 1 will welcome Aaero for Xbox One and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair on Xbox 360. The first is available until October 31 whilst the latter is only up for grabs on the legacy hardware until October 15.

It is on October 16 that Microsoft goes on to welcome Hover for Xbox One alongside Resident Evil Code: Veronica X on the older Xbox 360. Of course, it should be noted that this month’s Mulaka is to carry over well until October 15th halfway through next month. The remaining Warhammer: Chaosbane and Samurai Showdown II will be available to install until September 30.

On Tuesday, Microsoft went on to announce that is featured Dolby Vision support on Xbox Series systems has officially rolled out. Noted, the ability to enhance games with enriched color saturation and other improved appearances is only for televisions and displays that can fully take advantage of the feature.
