PlayStation 5 2024 Promo Lists Both Silent Hill 2 Remake & Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater To Launch This Year

In 2023, it was no secret that the build-up of creative minds for the video game industry finally released with a very consistent year of good releases. And this is to further continue entering 2024 as well. Most noted is the beginning of this year with titles including Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Persona 3 Reload, and later on with Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. looking onward is surely to deliver more.

Previously, Konami announced two major titles are on the way in the form of modern remakes. In October 2022, it was revealed that Bloober Team is to tackle a remake for the classic Silent Hill 2. Additionally, Konami’s in-house team is working on a remake for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater as well. However, release dates for the pair were not given since the initial announcements.

But according to Sony Interactive Entertainment, it appears both Silent Hill 2 & Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater are on the way to launch in 2024 as per a new PlayStation 5 promo trailer. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“Discover some of the best upcoming games for PlayStation 5 that you can look forward to playing in the year ahead,” the description for the trailer on YouTube reads. The promo reel also lists other major releases on the way including Rise of the Ronin, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Foamstars, The Casting of Frank Stone, Tekken 8, Concord, Helldivers II, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 as well.

Recently, the PlayStation firm also confirmed a release window for another long-awaited release on its platform. In that, it was revealed that Stellar Blade, previously codenamed Project Eve, is also aiming to launch sometime in 2024. You can read the full report by heading here.
