PUBG Corp. Teases New Dynamic Map Paramo For PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds For Season 9

What might not seemed to have been that long ago took place back in mid July with PUBG Corp. announcing Season 8 for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The newest phase for online reinvigoration of the popular battle royale reiterated on the classic map, Sanhok. But now, the developer is ready to move on with the next major update for the title set to arrive staring next week.

Starting on October 21, for PC users that is, Season 9 is set to hit all players. What contents will be inside of the new update will include a new map, Paramo. The newest setting takes an interesting twist on the core understandings of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds as it will introduce dynamic weather mechanics. While not specifically rain or snow, it instead brings lava and ash which changes the atmosphere of the new region.

More so, players have not faced an update to this degree since Season 6 with the addition of Karakin. The named map while smaller than its sibling settings offered the first taste of levelution which included buildings and other structures to be destroyed by nearby bombardments. With Paramo, the same or even more can be expected as the new changes can shift how players approach each game.

Of course, there will also be yet another battle pass to be expected for the next season as well. With little details still yet to be shared, it is expected that PUBG Corp will provide an official reveal alongside detailed overview of everything that will be included in Season 9 when it drops later in October.
