Currently, developer Insomniac Games is underway for the coming standalone entry, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game studio announced the project during last month’s PlayStation 5 showcase and spared some exciting scenes for what will be in the full game later this year when it is expected to ship alongside the PlayStation 5. But before the separate project can arrive, there is already whispers regarding the game’s sequel.
In that, there has been information suggesting that a major addition to the casting will be present in the presumably titled Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. In that, it is shared by We Got This Covered whose sources disclose that an Avenger will be making an appearance in the game and perhaps be featured in the main storyline for the follow-up game.
“Doctor Strange will be showing up at some point in Insomniac’s unannounced sequel,” the outlet penned on the recent report. However, We Got This Covered continues by commenting that the knowledge as for how involved the sorcerer will be in the game has yet to be determined. But there might be some structure to this claim as the outlet also brought receipts for the report.
Elaborating more, We Got This Covered discloses that the information sourced is from the same party that spared tips for the coming She-Hulk series on Disney+. Even more, the same source also disclosed Ahsoka Tano’s casting for The Mandalorian which also happened to be accurate upon discovering later on.
Previously, We Got This Covered has also proven to be offer legitimate details with sources sharing that a Kingdom Hearts series is coming to Disney+. While the outlet did report the show to be a live-action adaptation of the television show, insiders later confirmed the project to possibly being approached and that the production will be performed now via Unreal Engine 4 under Square Enix instead.
