When engaging within Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog IP< the blue blur mascot has continued to roll out unique content over the course of 2023 with more planned later ahead. For starters, Sonic Frontiers – the current mainline entry – rolled out a major update for the game including new game modes and gameplay experiences.
Additionally, an April Fool’s Day prank gone real on Steam with murder mystery ‘The Murder Of Sonic the Hedgehog’: a visual novel that follows the tale of a mysterious death for Sonic the Hedgehog on a moving train. Even more, Sonic Origins Plus with its soon release later this June unveiled Amy Rose will be a playable character as its ships physically very soon.
At Summer Game Fest, Sega & Sonic Team revealed a modern throwback with Sonic Superstars. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:
