Square Enix Announces New Summer 2021 ‘Presents’ Show Scheduled For June 13

Now that E3 is upon us for the coming days, fans are expecting to understand the full schedule for this year’s show. And thankfully the Electronic Software Association already orchestrated a full playbook for the digital event spanning four days. But, not all firms yet to indicate its plans for the respected timeframe: one being Square Enix.

Originally, it was a shocker to discover that the Japanese firm was not listed to be present at E3. However, Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda went on to press that the company will be presenting new announcements at E3. That statement was then later backed up by the Electronic Software Association confirming Square Enix attending the show in June.

On Thursday, Square Enix announced a new ‘Square Enix Presents’ is to take place on June 13. This will be the second ‘Presents’ show since the first one held earlier this spring back in March.

The summer edition of Square Enix Presents, the company’s digital show where world premieres, new game announcements, updates and news is delivered directly to the global gaming community, will air on June 13 at 12:15 Pacific time as a Keynote during the all-digital E3 2021 event.

Going more into detail, Square Enix cites that more information on Marvel’s Avengers Black Panther: War for Wakanda will be present alongside new to reveal for both Life is Strange: True Colors & Life is Strange Remastered as well.

More interesting is that Square Enix goes on to press Babylon’s Fall is to be present. While announced more than a year ago now, little information on the game has rolled out since. But, in summer 2020, PlatinumGames did disclose that development is coming along smoothly and wishes to tell more on the game later on.

Even more, Eidos Montreal is to feature its next game. Bur pressed by Bloomberg Tech’s Jason Schreier on Twitter, the next project is likely to be an Guardians of the Galaxy game. He goes on to tell that it is not likely a Deus Ex project. But, the series is not gone forever. Square Enix previously confirmed the game is still on hiatus for the time being.
