Bethesda has officially revealed the long-rumored Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster that has been the talk online for several weeks. After it was revealed, they shadow dropped the game on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Game Pass.
According to reliable insider, eXtas1stv, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will also be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and claims there is “active work at Bethesda” on this at the moment.
As always with rumors like these, we must take them with a grain of salt. However, Microsoft is no stranger to wanting to support the Nintendo Platform. Recently, Phil Spencer reaffirmed that Xbox wants to support the Switch 2 platform.
It seems more of a realistic possibility as well since many other third-party developers will be supporting the Switch 2 platform. Games like Borderlands 4, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII Intergrade and more will be playable on the new console.
Here is what The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered features:
- HUD, menu and map reworks
- Improved UI for systems like Persuasion, Clairvoyance, and more
- Modifications to levelling, encumbrance, non-combat perks, and other mechanics
- Improved enemy scaling
- Enhanced accessibility features
