The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle Chapter & 2022 Roadmap Revealed

In the current roadmap for Bethesda, of course Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios’ next major release later this fall. Last June the developer announced that the game is slated to be a unique launch for Xbox Series consoles alongside PC. Additionally, Xbox lead Phil Spencer went on to press the same future is also slated to be held up for The Elder Scrolls VI when that game arrives later on in time.

In terms of other projects of prominent Bethesda properties, The Elder Scrolls Online is to receive its next wave of content later this year. Already in 2021 was expansion ‘Blackwood’. From our review, “The Elder Scrolls Online has been around for a long time. If further expansions can keep adding quality content like Blackwood has, the sky is the limit for this powerhouse franchise.’ So, it is anticipated more fulfilling content will certainly come.

This week, Zenimax Online Studios revealed the next segment of add-ons for The Elder Scrolls Online with ‘High Isle’ visiting the native land of the Bretons. You can watch the announcement cinematic trailer in the video below:

“In the upcoming High Isle Chapter, you have the opportunity to discover a part of Nirn never-before-seen in the Elder Scrolls series: the ancient island home of the Breton elite. Within the Systres Archipelago, explore a bountiful tropical atoll, ringed by stunning white cliffs and host to both majestic castles and dense jungles,” the team gives for an overview of the new region.

A description for High Isle shares, “In ESO: High Isle’s main storyline, you are charged with uncovering the plots of a sinister order of knights that threaten the peace and security of High Isle. At the head of this rogue group stands the Ascendant Lord, a mysterious force seeking to claim an ancient legacy.”

Previously, it was discovered that Zenimax Online Studios is busy with more projects alongside The Elder Scrolls Online. From a statement by one developer, it is solidified a new entity is currently in the development pipeline. You can read the full report by heading here.
