When it comes to Microsoft, the firm shows to continuously celebrate smaller developers. With its ID@Xbox program which kicked off nearly a decade ago, the venture has went on to gross roughly $1.4 billion as of 2020. But, the initiative over the last couple of years has teamed up with Twitchgaming to showcase up and coming releases for players to explore and diversify their palette.
In August last year, we saw featured titles like Stardew Valley, Floppy Knights, OlliOlli World, Sam & Max Save The World Remastered, and Evil Genius 2 being presented then. Similarly, that following March earlier this spring also entertained on new independently-developed projects. That included Floppy Knights, Immortality, Shredders, Tunic. and Trek on Yomi.
Now this week, Microsoft is set to return alongside Twitchgaming with a newly scheduled /twitchgaming: ID@Xbox Fall Showcase next week. The presentation is said to feature upcoming projects Metal: Hellsinger, Eville, and You Suck at Parking! Additionally, there will be other showcased releases at the presentation not mentioned too.
“Good things are bound to happen when you mix ID@Xbox and /twitchgaming! Here we are once again to showcase updates and new announcements of amazing games coming to Xbox from independent developers,“ Community & Partner Onboarding Sr. PM – Events Jessica Ronnell writes in the blog post.
