Currently, Ubisoft appears to be readjusting f its newest Assassin’s Creed title. Which would have released already, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has now been pushed to launch later in February 2025. What’s more, the publisher is still actively working on more projects in that franchise. According to InsiderGaming, ten titles are planned after the coming release this winter.

Previously, Ubisoft has also been spotted refining its older titles on newer hardware. Entries including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was enhanced to feature 60 frames per second support. Not only that, but also Assassin’s Creed Origins was also enabled for 60hz output as well on both Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 too.

Now this week, Ubisoft reveals that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is the next game to adapt this feature as part of a free update for users playing the game via backwards compatibility. The move is always welcomed and slowly narrows down enhanced support for the entire lineage of Assassin’s Creed titles as well.

“Revisit the Assassin fantasy and take down your enemies more smoothly than ever on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s free 60 FPS patch. Roam London’s streets in a whole new light and elevate your gaming experience with doubled framerate on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro. In addition, take a leap into a visually stunning experience thanks to 4K resolution on Xbox Series X, PS5 and PS5 Pro,” Ubisoft writes.

As noted, there are hardly any titles that remain on current hardware for Assassin’s Creed which does not already enable 60 frames per second support. On Xbox especially, it has the upper hand with Assassin’s Creed FPS Boost compatibility providing an upgraded 60hz feature. Now, the only singular title in all the mainline titles left is Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Are you excited to revisit Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in 60 frames per second?

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
