While Ubisoft has cleared all answered questions for Watch Dogs: Legion as the firm during its July Ubisoft Forward announced that the coming entry will be shipping in late October, the publisher still had more under its sleeve as for what will come as part of the paired Season Pass that players can purchase separately or provided through respected versions of the game.
Following the fall launch date being slated by Ubisoft, the firm disclosed that users who pay ahead for the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition for Watch Dogs: Legion will be gifted a free copy of 2014’s Watch Dogs. While the offer is said to only be valid for paying ahead for the respected versions, users have found the gifted game to still be provided for those who pick up the Season Pass after launch as well as Ubisoft has done the same with other releases in the past.
As part of the announcement for post-launch content, Ubisoft shares that a new standalone DLC arc starring Watch Dog’s protagonist Aiden Pierce will be making waves sometime following the release of Watch Dogs: Legion. You can watch the segment featuring the reveal in the video below:
“As part of Legion’s post-launch plans, Aiden Pearce, the protagonist of the first Watch Dogs, will make his return as a fully playable character with a dedicated story arc,” Ubisoft shares in a blog post following the announcement. The publisher also taps in to disclose that the Season Pass will also offer two separate story arcs including additional DedSec missions and four operators including Aiden Pierce.
Ubisoft also used the Watch Dogs: Legion spotlight to announce its collaboration with English rapper, Stormzy. The firm in this new partnership unveiled the music video for the artist’s song, “Rainfall”. Ubisoft explains that the video was produced using the engine to create Watch Dogs: Legion. The performer is also told to be found in the mission Fall on my Enemies in the full game when the game arrive later this fall.
