Reflecting on the major announcement today made by Microsoft today, the firm announced that its next-generation systems – Xbox Series X & Xbox Series S – are both arriving on November 10th. While also providing the price points for both units, the firm also shared that the two consoles will be going live for pre-orders on September 22 later this month.
In anticipation for the new hardware shipping later this fall, a handful of partnered developers also made announcements in correlation to the remark made today by Microsoft. In that, there are more than a handful of AAA projects that will be shipping day one alongside both next-generation units.

In hind sense, the announcements also proves to be effective for players deciding to migrate to the new systems on day one. In that, fans for RGG Studio’s newest mainline Yakuza installment will get a head start as the game does not release until November 13 a few days after. And the announcement also shares to follow just less than a week after the newly slated launch date for Dirt 5.
Elsewhere during today’s Xbox Series X / S news overhaul, Microsoft announced that subscribers for Xbox Game Pass will be shipping with EA Play for free when the new consoles arrive later this holiday season. You can read the full report by heading here.
