Listen to this Article:

Earlier this week it was reported that Wonder Woman could be a live service game from Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions due to a job listing. At first, that was believable since Warner Bros. stated in their recent financial call that they’d like to focus more on live service games.

Well now according to the publisher that is not the plan for Wonder Woman based on the statement they sent to IGN:

“Wonder Woman is a single-player action-adventure game set in a dynamic open-world. This third person experience will allow players to become Diana of Themyscira and introduce an original story set in the DC Universe, while also featuring the Nemesis System. Wonder Woman is not being designed as a live service,” a Warner Bros. spokesperson said.”

The new Wonder Woman game remains in development as it was first announced during The Game Awards in 2021. A release date hasn’t been announced yet either for the game.
