Breaking right now, Microsoft announced that its next-generation consoles, Xbox Series X & Xbox Series S, are both set to ship later this fall on November 10th. Priced at $499 and $299, both new line game consoles prove to push the boundaries of the gaming industry with high-level performance and the ability to push resolutions never expected to be utilized in interactive entertainment.
However, the firm shares that the envelope will be pushed further with what can be offered on Xbox by announcing that Xbox Game Pass will offer a new benefit fort hose who subscribe. In that, the firm reveals that EA Play, formerly EA Access, will be provided for no additional charge later this holiday season when the two systems ship.
Not only will users on console be indulging in the new perk for Xbox Game Pass, but also that users on PC will also be provided with the same benefit as well.
We are teaming up with Electronic Arts to provide Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members with an EA Play membership at no additional cost starting this holiday. This means Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows 10 PCs, and Xbox Game Pass for PC members get EA Play on Windows 10.

This is certainly not the first time that both Microsoft and Electronic Arts partnered when bridging both of its subscription services. At the beginning of 2020, Microsoft advertised a promotion offering one free month of EA Access when signing up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The firm has also indulged in other specials dishing Discord Nitro and Spotify Premium.
The announcement also falls shortly after the revamping of EA Access from this past August. Electronic Arts has redesigned the entirety of the service to offer more benefits for those who use the service while still retaining what many users love about EA Access.
