Console giant Microsoft regarding new details of the approaching next-generation console, Xbox Series X, has been very generous with the amount of information we have at our disposal so far. The firm not too long ago shed some light on the latest iteration of Xbox with some features that the latest hardware can pull off and later stripped the case of the unit to display the technological architecture of the unit itself. This happened to also reveal some nods to the platform’s notorious Halo series, a pattern that has been forming regarding newer hardware.

However, despite what there is to discuss on the specifications of the system, we still are unfamiliar with what exactly will convince consumers to grab the system – games. Granted, we are already aware that Halo Infinite alongside Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II are expected to ship for the new console, but regarding a broader understanding has yet to be addressed.

According to Xbox Head Phil Spencer on Twitter, he tells that the next respected showcase will answer those in question on the matter of software. He reveals the detail when responding to a questioning follower earlier today.

For the past week or so, there has been several claims regarding Microsoft’s next planned showcase for the Xbox Series X. Additionally, the rumors have tossed in the chances that Microsoft will also introduce the companion system Project Lockhart. Windows Centrals has reported that the unit itself will be addressed as the Xbox Series S which will offer next-generation features with a comprised 4 teraflop CPU.

A separate, corroborating claim from platform insider Timdog suggested a similar understanding that Microsoft will showcase Lockhart as well. He goes on to disclose that the firm is in the works of scheduling a presentation for sometime in May alongside a following Inside Xbox live show in June later on. With Spencer clarifying that the “next step is not too far away,” this further demonstrates the likeliness of the alleged presentation for next month to be legitimate.

Even more, it was just discovered yesterday that Microsoft has established trademarks linked to two logos for the Xbox Series X. The discovery furthermore insinuates that plans for the new system is expected to unravel in the coming future for Microsoft with the likes of a showcase alongside potential pricing and a slated release date for the system.

With the ongoing pandemic inflicted by COVID-19, Niko Partners’ analyst David Ahmad has shared that plans to officially present not only the Xbox Series X, but also the PlayStation 5 has been shorted to an earlier date especially without this June’s E3 in the picture naymore.
