June 2020 is nearing an end while Microsoft hasn’t done anything yet regarding a presentation, fans are starting to get curious of what’s going on. Sony has showed off the PlayStation 5 while also showing off their first-party titles that will be playable when the console launches. Electronic Arts had their EA Play event that had a handful of announcements including the return of Skate.

VentureBeat had revealed that Microsoft is planning an announcement for August 2020 regarding another version of their next generation console. It’s reported that the Xbox Series S known as Project Lockhart over the past few months will be the announcement.

Just last week a document leaked showing the official name of Project Lockhart. It looks like that the Xbox Series S would be the cheaper and weaker version of the powerful Xbox Series X. This doesn’t come as a surprise as Sony is offering an all digital version for the PlayStation 5 which is expected to be cheaper.

Microsoft is supposed to host a July 20/20 event, but it is possible that we could expect it later in the month. This show is supposedly going to have a big focus on launch title, Halo Infinite. We hope to see official prices of both these consoles soon at one of these events.

Recently there was a suspicion that Microsoft was planning to announce a brand new Perfect Dark Game due to a Twitter account being locked with the exact name. Head of Xbox Marketing had shut down that rumor since then.
