Kiwami 2 is a complete rework of the original 2006 title, Yakuza 2. After the events of the first installment in the Yakuza series, Kazuma Kiryu is brought back into the crime organization following the death of Yukio Terada done by the rivaling Omi Alliance.
It seems that Sega is becoming more open to bringing their titles to the PC platform as we’ve already witnessed earlier this year with Catherine’s surprise launch on Steam. And now with another title off the list, it leaves the question of what game could possibly follow after this: potentially another title from the same franchise?
In other Sega/Yakuza related news, Judgement following the recent arrest of Pierre Taki for the possession of narcotics left many fans worried of how the game will be affected releasing in the West. Soon after Sega clarified that the game is still aimed to release this coming June.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is available for PlayStation 4 as of now.
