In the ongoing title that is Apex Legends, the popular battle royale over the past month has introduced its latest Legend, Newcastle. With the welcoming of a new face – err mask, I guess – a new season is here with Season 13 – Saviors. However, Apex Legends has also been at the top of conversation elsewhere in the same period.

Yes, the title has officially arrived to smart phones on both Android & iOS globally. More interesting is that the new port also introduces a new Legend currently exclusive to mobile – Fade. The character is a spin on Wraith with portal-like abilities as his ultimate uses the Void similar to the powers that Wraith has.

This week, Respawn Entertainment reemerges with a new event coming next week. Titled the Awakening Collection Event, players can jump in from June 21st to July 5th to experience the mew Lifeline Town Takeover & Valkyrie heirloom. You can watch the gameplay trailer in the video below:

“In the center of the Clinic’s main floor stands the Med-bay. With it, legends can take advantage of the most refined automated healing system in the Outlands,” the overview reads for the new map addition to Olympus. “Whenever injured legends are standing on the platform, a heal tether will activate and attach to them. If the Med-bay is charged, they will get continuous healing. Additionally, the Med-bay’s holo-displays will indicate if someone is healing, or if the Med-bay is recharging.”

Additionally, Apex Legends will be returning the fan-favorite Control mode once more with the gametype now arriving to World’s Edge. In a big relief, Respawn Entertainment in the blog post shares that it will be resolving one problem with the game mode. “Fill slots of missing players at the start of Control with new players to prevent imbalanced matches.”

Recently, Electronic Arts once again acknowledges the profitability of Apex Legends. In its latest financial report statement, the firm shares that Apex Legends has now generated more than $2 billion. You can read the full report by heading here.
