Good luck everyone! The brackets will be posted here once we get the full teams.

Hello Games has released detailed patch notes about the Foundation Update

After 100 days Sean Murray has finally made contact and he has come to announce what will be involved in the 1.1 foundation update for No Mans Sky. When the game launched, lots of people were disappointed at the lack of content and this update may change that. Is it too late though? Let us know your thoughts. Foundation Update Website Link New Game Modes No Man’s Sky will have three game modes rather than the original one when the Foundation Update launches. Normal mode will be the No Man’s Sky difficulty that everyone remembers. Creative mode will allow us to explore the universe with no limitations and be able to build huge bases. Finally, we have survival mode. This game mode is for those of us who want a real challenge (and to die a lot). Death Quotes:  Base Building Base building has been a slightly controversial topic in the community due to the fact that they are asking you to build stationary bases in a game that you are meant to travel in. None the less, here are more details about what will be coming regarding base building. Claim your home planet by finding an uninhabited base and creating your own, fully bespoke outpost. Construct your homestead for shelter, using modular structures and decorations, replicated from resources gathered while exploring Recruit alien lifeforms to help research new technology. Farming, engineer, weapons and science specialists are hirable from Space Stations Use Terminus Teleporters in Space Stations to teleport to and from your base at will Expand your base with storage containers to stockpile precious resources and rare products Find an even more beautiful location and you can simply dismantle your previous homestead to refund all of the spent resources Farming and Making Camp Cultivate biome dependent crops outdoors, or inside your base or Freighter using Hydroponic Labs Plants grow over time and offer a steady supply of resources to be harvested Hire a farming specialist to research and grow ten new plant types, and discover new resource elements Players can now build essential equipment in the field on-planet Place save points anywhere in the world, crucial for Survival mode Automated Harvesters gather resources from mineral deposits in your absence Waypoints can be placed and colour-coded to allow explorers to return to discoveries Communications Terminals allow explorers to leave sub-space messages for others to find Discover nearby mineral deposits, uninhabited bases or suit upgrades with the use of a Signal Scanner Freighters Purchase huge interstellar Freighters at great expense, and then summon them from anywhere in the galaxy Resources can be teleported to your Freighter while on-planet, ideal for stockpiling goods for trading Customise the inside of your Freighter within the Base Building section Create extended cargo holds to expand your vessel’s capacity, and grow crops of rare resources on board Transport your Freighter and its cargo to different, more economically favourable systems to maximise your earnings Use the new recruitment system to crew your Freighter with Engineer, Farmer, Weapons and Science specialists to help research new technologies New Resources & Technology Discover new biome and star specific resource types as you explore the universe Craft the new Advanced Mining Laser and Hazmat gauntlets through base building and use them to gather rare resources Research and discover dozens of new products, building components and technologies User Interface Update The user interface has been improved to accommodate the stress of Survival Mode where a small inconvenience can be the difference between life and death. The intelligent Quick Access Menu streamlines Inventory access. Products can be stacked up to five times per inventory slot, resulting in increased starship, base container and freighter storage capacity New arrow indicators have been added to emphasise shield and life support changes more clearly, to aid decision making Scanned Primary resource elements have been given specific symbols to allow for easier differentiation View your current objective at any time quickly by pressing left on the D-Pad, or H on your keyboard The UI has been visually improved by removing colour tint and other artifacts Early warning indicators have been added to starship cockpits to notify explorers of inbound Pirate activity Red cockpit warnings indicate more clearly when Pulse Drive is unavailable   There are more details on the website but from the things we have seen, I am excited as to what else might come.

Activision have said that they have a new system for releasing content in Destiny 2

Prepare yourselves Guardians. A new tweet from @TheLegendBlue on Twitter today states that Activision have a new system for releasing content in Destiny 2 to keep the universe more alive throughout the game. This is huge for Destiny players due to the game’s history of lacking enough content to keep things consistently fresh and interesting. Let’s hope Bungie and Activision deliver for Destiny 2. https://twitter.com/TheLegendBlue/status/794285103841157120

The Witcher 3 Eredin statue announced with Prime 1 Studio

Today a new character statue from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been announced – Eredin, the leader of the Wild Hunt. See below for the description of the impressive model. The name of the King of the Wild Hunt, the identity of the lord of nightmares, the being behind the frightful mask, this long remained unknown. Over time, however, scraps of information gradually coalesced into a full likeness of our foe – but did nothing to detract from the terror he inspired. The Wild Hunt was in truth an elite cavalry brigade from the world of the Aen Elle, the Alder Folk, and was commanded by their ambitious and ruthless king, Eredin Breacc Glas. He would travel via secret paths through the cold emptiness between his world and ours to capture victims and take them back to his homeland as slaves. His current Hunt was Cirilla whose power he wanted to harness for his own uses. But his only obstacle in his path is Geralt of Rivia. The Eredin 24-inch statue is accompanied with his hound. You can pre-order Eredin now for a mere $799. Better save up those crowns. Pre-order website

Weekly Gaming News Recap (10/24/16-10/31/16)

343i Welcomes In New Community Manager This week, 343 industries’ Bravo made a community update talking about future updates and in that blog he announced the new Halo Community Manager. He was previously a CM for Halo back in the Bungie days and 6 years later now he is back with 343 this time. His name goes by Ske7ch (Brian Jarrard) and now with there being a new community manager, Bravo has moved up to Senior Producer. Please join me in welcoming @ske7ch as @Halo community manager! This and plenty more in this week's update: https://t.co/S7JXkkFDR1 — Andy "Bravo" Dudynsky (@Brav) October 29, 2016   They also had a little Q&A with Brian:   As the end of my first week at 343 comes to a close, it’s a very surreal feeling to pick up this torch and jump back into the Halo community after a nearly six-year hiatus. A lot has changed during my post-Bungie cryosleep and this week has brought a veritable flood of emotions bursting with spores of excitement, nostalgia and honestly, a sprinkle of trepidation.  Thankfully some things haven’t changed – namely my longstanding love of Halo, a kickass fan community and a community team comprised of awesome passionate folks who love their jobs! I’ve truly missed being an official part of Halo and while I did briefly mull over making a run at becoming the oldest ever HCS pro I’m thrilled that 343 spared me that humiliation and instead welcomed me into this more suitable role. It’s safe to say the community team now has a brand new worst Halo player to beat up on (though I’m pretty certain I can still crush Frankie). It will certainly take some time for me to unlock all the necessary 343 community certs (sadly I seem no closer to finally acquiring a DMR) but it’s a journey I’m stoked to be starting and look forward to learning and experiencing together. We can’t wait to see what Brian does with the Halo community again! Titanfall 2 Sales Are Only 25% Of Titanfall 1 Battlefield 1 and the remastered version of Skyrim impressed at UK retail last week, Titanfall’s 2 launch not so much. The games launch sales (retail only) are well below the ones achieved by its predecessor, which arrived in March 2014 on Xbox platforms and PC only. Titanfall 2’s launch sales are barely a quarter of the ones achieved by its original – despite the fact that this sequel has the added benefit of launching on PlayStation 4. Titanfall 2 debuts at No.4 in the GfK Top 10, while the original reached the number 1 spot. That might had to do with not many FPS released for Xbox One so keep that in mind. It’s a little odd that the game had a bit of a disappointing launch since the reviews have been nothing but great. The fans reactions have been great as well towards the campaign. In the latest UK charts Titanfall debuted at number 4 with FIFA17 above it as well as Battlefield 1 and Skyrim remaster. Farming Simulator was right behind Titanfall 2. Last Week This Week Title 1 1 Battlefield 1 New Entry 2 Elder Scrolls V: Skrim Special Edition 2 3 FIFA 17 New Entry 4 Titanfall 2 New Entry 5 Farming Simulator 17 3 6 Mafia III New Entry 7 Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse 2 4 8 Gears of War 4 9 9 Grand Theft Auto V 8 10 Forza Horizon 3   Nintendo Switch Will Have 4GB Of Ram Emily Rogers, a great Nintendo source has put out some good news about the Switch. She confirmed that the system will have 4GB of ram in retail units and not just the dev units. This is double the Wii U’s ram, as some people thought the ram in the final units would be half of the dev kits. Now before anyone says that it weak the PlayStation 4 has 4-5GB usable for games. https://twitter.com/ArcadeGirl64/status/792616520308314112?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Bethesda Will Continue To Work With Sony To Allow Mods On Playstation To Be The Same As Other Platforms After having this whole controversy with fans, the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 will have mods for it after all. As we all know the PS4 version of Skyrim remaster already has them. Even though the PlayStation 4 mods will have limitations as opposed to the Xbox One version, it is still something the users can work with. There are fans that hope the PS4 version can live up to the Xbox One mods. After being asked on Twitter,  Pete Hines, VP of Bethesda, said “we did that already. it wasn’t approved. whether it will change in the future, I don’t know. It isn’t up to me.” He also said on a later tweet that they will continue to push to push to have mods work the same on all platforms. We will see what happens. PS4 Pro Box Images Appear On The Web PS4 Pro is few weeks to be released to the world but in the meantime the Internet has gotten their hands on the newest Sony console. Check them out.

How To Defeat Vosik The Archpriest Phase 1 In Rise Of Iron

The raid just released for Destiny’s latest expansion, Rise Of Iron. This is the first of five Wrath Of The Machine raid guides, if you would rather watch a video guide, one is included in this post. In this first guide, I will be explaining to you how to open the door and weaken the first boss of the raid. The first thing you want to do is split your team into three pairs. One pair will go left, one will stay in the middle and one will go to the right. You will notice that there are three spinners in each location and these need to be charged up. One person needs to stay at each spinner and everyone else need to run around to pick up voltage charges. These will be the glowing white lights on the ground and you just need to run on top of them. When you pick one up a 15 second countdown will start, if this countdown drops you WILL die. To avoid this, you need to pick up four voltages, your debuff will say max voltage, and then run over to your set spinner, hold square and you will dunk the voltages into it. At this point you need to protect your spinners whilst they charge up. Adds will be constantly spawning and a new enemy called voltage eaters will begin to spawn near each spinner. You need to kill these before they get to the spinner or else they will take the voltage and you will have to repeat these steps. If done successfully, siva charges will begin to spawn infront of the spinners. You need to pick these up and then thrown them at the boss to lower his shield. Once his shield is down, you can lay into him with everything you have. Bear in mind that if you still have siva charges these will do massive damage to the boss whilst his shield is down. Once the damage phase is over, his shield will go back up and you simply need to repeat the previous steps. Eventually you will get the boss weak and he will teleport away and you have completed the first step. Head up through the door and you will get to the first chest. The chest drops a legendary engram and CAN drop an exotic. [youtube id=”PdMXDqDRC4Q”]
