Bloober Team Confirms June Launch For Layers Of Fear, Steam Demo Available Now

Polish-based developer Bloober Team remains to keep itself busy in recent years. The latest announcement for its plan book includes a collaboration with Konami. The announcement came to be a full remake of Silent Hill 2 aimed to ship this year for PlayStation 5. It was also said that a TV show was underway for The Medium as well.

Elsewhere, Bloober Team did share a new Layers of Fear game was paved for a 2022 release. Of course, that did not come as fans are still awaiting the next release. But in an update that offered a 2023 launch window did share the game will be simply titled ‘Layers of Fear’ once more. One exciting detail is it will launch on new consoles utilizing Unreal Engine 5.

This week, Bloober Team returns to announce Layers of Fear is set to release just short of a month away in June. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“We are thrilled to announce the release date for Layers of Fear and to bring this definitive horror experience to players on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC,” Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno says. “With the power of Unreal Engine 5, we’ve been able to create a game that visually surpasses our previous works, delivering an unforgettable journey into the minds of tormented artists. We are excited for both new and returning players to jump in.”

Additionally, a PC demo for the game has gone live on Steam. Bloober Team does not that the demo is only available until May 22nd. “It offers a chilling glimpse into the unsettling world of The Writer, the game’s third and final protagonist. Explore her story as it serves as a nexus to connect the story threads of the previous instalments.”
