The world of Cyberpunk 2077 nearly two years later remains to be a questionable place for the video game industry when considering if it delivered or not. There is a strong consensus towards one group of users who believe the game is what they anticipated. However, another fragment of players are unsatisfied with the state the game released in.
Thankfully, the team at CD Projekt Red delivered many of its promises with the next-gen release for Cyberpunk 2077. But, there is more on the way regarding the Polish developer’s newest IP. In that, the team has partnered with Studio Trigger (Kill La Kill) to make an anime based on the franchise. The series is said to arrive later in 2022.
This week during Geeked Week from Netflix, the first trailer for the game has released and is planning to arrive to the streaming service this fall. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk,” CD Projekt Red writes in the blog post.
Additionally, Netflix’s other big video game release soon is Resident Evil. The new live-action show released a couple trailers last month and is planned to release next month on July 14th. You can read the full report by heading here.
