Although the Far Cry IP continues to grow and span in new directions, the latest Far Cry 6 set to release this fall has been one project that fans waited the longest to learn about. Since its early fall announcement last year, the new release starring Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) and Anthony Gonzalez (Coco) remained dormant until this summer. After its February launch date was shifted to later in 2021, fans sit patiently for more information to break out.

That was when Ubisoft spared a new release date aimed for October later on this autumn. However, the publisher did not stop once the momentum picked up. At its Ubisoft Forward presentation in June, Far Cry 6 revealed its post-launch expansions include three installments starring the antagonists from Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5.

In a more recent trailer, Far Cry 6 post-launch plans are vaster than the three initial add-ons for the newest game in the series. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

As part of the free portion of the post-launch plans for Far Cry 6, there are three notable missions that will be added. In December, Far Cry 6 welcomes Danny Trejo in ‘Danny & Dani Vs. Everybody’. Additionally, the energy builds for the next feature with John Rambo in ‘Rambo: All The Blood’ in February. Aimed for March the month after, Stranger Things make an impression on Far Cry 6 with ‘The Vanishing’ mission later on.

As for the three Season Pass expansions for Far Cry 6, Ubisoft officially names the three with respective release windows. Vaas Montenegro’s ‘Insanity’ arrives in November, Pagan Min’s ‘Control’ drops in January, and Joseph Seed’s ‘Collapse’ is to be delivered in March this coming spring. There is also some refreshing news for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

In that, the 2013 standalone title is being remastered for consoles with a ‘Classic Edition’ being mad. PC owners will receive the original 2013 version. Recently, Ubisoft pressed on how demanding Far Cry 6 will be by listing the PC requirements for the game. You can read the full report by heading here.
