Although Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake is a headline release that is solely unique to PlayStation – both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 now – fans are still awaiting additional platforms to expect the game to emerge on next. Currently, the project is anticipated to hit PC following the initial discovery of the game for PC predating back to a datamine back in early 2020 for the demo at the time.
Additionally, Square Enix in a post-launch thank you video to its supporters back in April 2020 did present a glimpse of the game running on PC. However, the firm did not elaborate on the version for the game since the initial footage was shared. But, it is presumed new information regarding the port will surface fairly soon since the exclusivity ties to PlayStation 4 was concluded back in April this year.
From ResetEra user Fusionterra, a new data entry for Epic Games Store appears to signify what might possibly be the first sign of life for Final Fantasy VII Remake on PC. You can view the screen grab of the finding in the image below:

For the sake of more Final Fantasy VII Remake versions, PC might not be the only place the game will land. In that, there was also a discovery for a virtual reality version in a separate datamine as well. However, it is undetermined if the finding would suggest a PlayStation VR port or a release for other headset on PC instead.
As for the recently released Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Square Enix & Sony Interactive Entertainment established a six-month exclusive deal for the version on PlayStation 5. So if Final Fantasy VII Remake hits PC, the experience is not likely to ship alongside the base game. You can read the full report by heading here.
