In the past month, there has been continued suspicions of a new Borderlands game underway. Initially, it was indicated by a lingering rumor that developer Gearbox Software would be outsourcing the project to a new team. However, Gearbox Software founder Randy Pitchford denounced the claims regarding such and the game to not be a reality.

However, it was later that Bloomberg Tech’s Jason Schreier disclosed the project to be legitimate according to a list of claims over on Reddit. But, it does not end there. Upon teasing a new announcement for Summer Game Fest, it was revealed through the linked website, BeChaoticGreat.com, that Wonderlands is the new game on the way.

Now on Thursday, Gearbox Software & 2K has unveiled Wonderlands. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:
