While the Super Monkey Ball IP has sat dormant for nearly a decade, Sega is deciding to turn its heels in direction of the series. With the release of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, the team shortly after told to be hopeful in serving its fans once more. It was not until this year that the Japanese firm unveiled Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania this summer.
Following, the game continues to showcase more add-on characters that will be available for the game at launch. So far, Sega introduced Jet Set Radio’s Beat, Sonic the Hedgehog’s Sonic & Tails, Yakuza’s Kazuma Kiryu, and Persona 5’s Morgana. The last Atlus character is one playable character that will ask for additional payment to obtain, however.
Elsewhere later on, Sega went on to announce both Monster Rancher’s Suezo alongside Hello Kitty to also star in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as DLC characters for a separate payment as well. You can watch each trailer in the videos below:
“The adorable Hello Kitty is rolling into the world of @Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania,” Sega pens for the Hello Kitty trailer description. “The magical worlds of Monster Rancher and Super Monkey Ball collide as Suezo rolls into Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania!” Suezo’s trailer description reads from Sega. Both characters are to cost for $4.99 each.
From Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently, the Japanese developer delivered Lost Judgment. From our review concludes, “Lost Judgment is a fantastic sequel. The combat and high school undercover side stories are absolutely incredible. The main story is well told, even with the limited nature of the investigative aspects.
