Job Listing For Game Studio Ballistic Moon Reveals Unannounced Project In Development With Sony Interactive Entertainment Publishing

So when it comes to PlayStation titles for this year, we already experienced Horizon Forbidden West & Gran Turismo 7. So what’s next? Well, the long-anticipated God of War Ragnarok is scheduled to release this coming November as a cross-platform title alike its other releases in 2022. But, there is more outside of PlayStation.

Just this week, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered hit Steam on PC. Additionally, The Last of Us Part I is even listed for the platform as well which does bring excitement the IP is coming to the platform too. Even Returnal has fragments online in a SteamDB listing suggesting a port for the platform is imminent too. Noted, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is still awaiting its PC launch as well slated for this year.

But looking ahead, there is a new property on the way with Sony Interactive Entertainment footing the bill. Under the Xdev front, newly founded developer Ballistic Moon is working on a new Unreal Engine 5 project. This information was expanded upon when poster Toumari on ResetEra revealed the listing includes Sony Interactive Entertainment.

As for further details on the project, it is shared that Until Dawn and Horizon Zero Dawn motion capture developer Joshua Archer is involved. Codenamed ‘Project Bates’, the game is being developed by Neil McEwan (House of the Dead: Overkill, Syndicate), Chris Lamb (Until Dawn, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood), and Duncan Kershaw (Heavy Rain, Sleeping Dogs) which the trio co-founded Ballistic Moon.
