Marvel’s Midnight Suns Launches This December In New Trailer, Xbox One/PlayStation4/Nintendo Switch Launches Later

In the ongoing machine that is upcoming Marvel games, we already know Insomniac Games is underway with two projects: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine. However, there is more on the front of multiplatform titles. From the Civilization & SOCOM game studio Firaxis Games, the team has partnered with 2K to work on Marvel’s Midnight Suns which is similarly structured.

Originally, the game was paved for early 2022, however, the game later faced a delay into late 2022. But after that Firaxis Games & 2K revealed Marvel’s Midnight Suns would welcome an October release date. Following the reveal, it was reported the game was delayed to an unknown date possibly inching into 2023 next year.

Well this recent D23 showcase shared that Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be arriving this December. You can watch the new gameplay trailer in the video below:

“In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, we knew we had a really cool opportunity to dive deep into the dark side of Marvel and introduce some supernatural heroes that may be new to many Marvel fans. Prequel Shorts sheds light on the events leading up the game and really brings the world of Marvel’s Midnight Suns to life,” said Firaxis Games creative director Jake Solomon.

Elsewhere during the presentation, Disney unveiled a teaser for Skydance New Media’s upcoming Marvel project. In the teaser, it shares that Captain America, Black Panther, Gabriel Jones, and Nanali will star in the four-person story experience. You can read the full report by heading here.
