
Upon the technological achievements that are favorable over on Xbox Series X|S, support for other projects are to continue throughout the course of the console’s lifespan. For one, FPS Boost is a namely mechanic that redefines the experience of beloved titles from previous hardware as the performance is optimized for modern hardware. Now, the feature supports 90+ games on the platform so far.
Additionally, Quick Resume by extension is also a favored tool that many Xbox Series X|S owners continue to remark on positively. In a recent update from Microsoft earlier this week, Quick Resume is said to be amped up with faster load times so waiting feels nearly instantly compared to older hardware. As for one project underway, Dolby Vision is still being experimented with for the general public. In an announcement on Twitter, Larry Hyrb announced Dolby Vision is coming to the Xbox Insider Ring this week.
In the past, it was discovered that Xbox Insider Alpha Skip Ahead Ring users already had the feature to enable. But, there were only a select number of games to play – Borderlands 3, Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Wreckfest. But now with the tool going live for the broader Xbox Insiders, a larger lineup is presumed to be revealed soon.
As for other graphical advantages that are coming to Xbox Series X|S, AMD announced that its self-named AMD FidelityFX is being enabled for developers.
