For publisher Ubisoft, the firm has a knack for letting the ball slip to its non-disclosed projects – as we are well aware of. Known leakers for a handful of years continue to be accurate with internal claims and it is just understood to be part of the industry with new information on Ubisoft titles. Recently, a leak from Insider Gaming told Far Cry is pursuing new Alaska-set projects and will focus on mainline installment alongside a separately connected PvE multiplayer experience too.

Not to mention another report from the same outlet on Project Nexus. The firm originally told that it severed ties with Oculus/Meta on its upcoming virtual reality projects. Whilst the Splinter Cell title shuttered development, Ubisoft is said to still be active on the Assassin’s Creed game and plans to ship it. Not to mention also planning efforts for a sequel already too.

Now according to Insider Gaming once more, Ubisoft is not hesitating to continue working on Assassin’s Creed. In a slew of claims, there are roughly a handful of titles said to be in development or are being pitched to enter production. Project Nebula from Ubisoft Sofia is said to be chasing India, Aztec Empire, and Mediterranean settings in one experience.

Project Raid helmed by Ubisoft Chengdu is a free-to-play four player PvE title which ties in previous Assassin’s Creed protagonists. Project Echoes of Ubisoft Annecy is also a multiplayer endeavor which integrates Ubisoft’s Scalar cloud technology, the outlet says. “They are going all in with AC and some other major franchises,” the sources shared with the publication on the matter. The idea of an annual release cycle is also suggested from those familiar within Ubisoft.

Already, Assassin’s Creed has a big plate to fill with multiple projects already announced. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to ship this year. Not to mention Project Red, Project Hexe, and Project Jade. Ubisoft also told an exclusive Netflix title is in the works which has yet to be properly revealed as well.

What are your thoughts on the continued drive from Ubisoft for more Assassin’s Creed games?
