No More Heroes III Gets Xbox, PlayStation, PC Versions Coming Later This August

Edging the next step for Grasshopper Manufacture is tricky to say the least. While the firm is most noticed for the now established No More Heroes trilogy with No More Heroes III which released this past summer, the firm is surely working on more projects. For one, Hotel Barcelona is on the way in collaboration with White Owls Inc helmed by Deadly Premonition creator Hidetaka “Swery65” Suehiro.

Additionally, Grasshopper Manufacture more recently did acquire rights to previously-developed IPs including Shadow of the Damned and The Silver Case. This pairs with a later initiative for the firm to return to older franchises in the coming future. More eye-opening is the uncertainty for No More Heroes: although confirming more projects is in the pipeline, Marvelous is to blame for not answering if No More Heroes is part of that.

This week, XSeed Games announced that No More Heroes III in celebration of its one year anniversary this August will be launching for a magnitude of platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. You can view the post imbedded below:

The announcement truly brings some questions to the table. Although previous No More Heroes titles did receive a native port to PC last year, the same cannot be said for consoles. Especially Xbox, this announcement surely does draw a lot of attention moving forward. Perhaps with a broader stretch across more platforms can ensure another entry is on the way. But that will be determined as time will reveal.

In October, Grasshopper Manufacture revealed it will be absorbed by NetEase Games as part of a new acquisition plan. The arrangement while surprising coming from a Chinese firm did not disclose plans as to what the developer will be crafting moving forward. You can read the full report by heading here.
