Amid the anticipation growing for Monday’s Xbox Anniversary Celebration livestream, some information on the approaching show then hinted at some remarks for the presentation. For one, the Halo Infinite multiplayer claims did not take long to swiftly pick up wind. But, when 343 Industries officially made the announcement, fans glowed with excitement to learn that a playable beta is now accessible with the campaign arriving next month.
Additionally, the Halo TV show also received some attention. Via a tweet from Master Chief actor Pablo Schreiber, he posted that fans following him for his current work will be “very excited” on what is revealed Monday. Even more, 343 Industries boss Kiki Wolfkill also played along with the statement. From that, a brief teaser of Schreiber in full costume was presented at the show.
What many did not anticipate is the new documentary underway from Microsoft. Announcing ‘Power On: The Story Of Xbox’, fans can now learn about the birth of the home for Halo, Gears of War, and Forza. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

From Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief Will Tuttle, he writes, “This December, we invite you to go behind the scenes and discover the true story behind the creation of Xbox and the 20-year journey that followed. Told by the team that lived it, Power On: The Story of Xbox is a documentary series that takes you back to the scrappy beginnings of Xbox as a passion project from a small group of gamers within Microsoft.
“It continues through the generations and shares never seen before details about some of Xbox’s biggest challenges like the dreaded Red Ring of Death.” The documentary will be divided into a six-part series and all episodes will arrive simultaneously next month.
