While many aspects of PlayStation are directly associated with its games that were released for its video game platform, Sony Interactive Entertainment has its own ideas for where to explore next. In that, entertainment is the new initiative for the firm with the opening of PlayStation Productions. So far, projects like The Last of Us on HBO and the Uncharted movie appears to find a foundation already.
Additionally, it has been confirmed a Twisted Metal TV show which most recently was pressed to be streaming on Peacock later upon its arrival. But, it does not end there it appears. In terms of the hands in the pot, Deadline reveals that The Expanse executive producers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby are to be involved. Additionally, Rafe Judkins, showrunner for The Wheel of Time is also part of the discussion. Of course, Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions also has its name in the project too.
