Sony Reveals The Full List Of Enhanced Titles To Launch This Week For PlayStation 5 Pro

This week, the highly-anticipated and thoroughly-debated PlayStation 5 Pro is set to release. Four years since the release of the base PlayStation 5, Sony Interactive Entertainment is officially rolling out the mid-generation refresh for this system. However, players are cautious this time around thanks to the questionable price tag of $699. Even more, there is still hesitancy to what this means for other blockbuster releases.

While showcasing what the new system will offer, it has been stated by Digital Foundry that it is not miles ahead of the standard console. Answering to the original PlayStation 5, the CPU is indifferent. In fact, it is understood Grand Theft Auto VI will likely still be 30hz on PlayStation 5 Pro. But, that is not to say there is zero support on other major titles. In that, it was confirmed about 50 games will be enabled for enhancements on the Pro system.

“The console enables graphical enhancements like advanced ray tracing, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, and silky smooth framerates of 60hz or 120hz through an upgraded GPU (depending on your TV), content communications manager Tim Turi writes. “Of course, crackling new power means little without immersive games to get lost in. This list is a sample of more than 50 games boasting PS5 Pro enhancements at launch, with many more to follow.”

Already, PlayStation has confirmed another game is planned to offer support later after the PlayStation 5 Pro launch. “PS5 Pro enhancement for Arma Reforger will be scheduled after November 7.” For those eager to get their first taste of PlayStation 5 Pro, the packaging and game cases for enabled titles were shared online already.
