Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield has launched with over 6 million players across all platforms after its first day of release, making it their biggest game launch ever. The game has been growing every day on Steam as it hit over 200,000 concurrent players during the first 24 hours of its Early Access release.
During its first full weekend with everyone being able to play the game, Starfield has not hit over 300,000 players on Steam. This is according to the Steamdb Charts available to the public. Although that is a large number of players, it has yet to overtake Baldur’s Gate 3 having 875,000 players online at once as its all-time peak.
Todd Howard previously confirmed that Starfield will be receiving post-launch content and it will be a major Story Expansion.
