For fans that follow developer Supermassive Games and the current The Dark Pictures Anthology, it is no secret that the second entry Little Hope shipped recently which timely complements Halloween which followed days after. But of course, that is not everything that Supermassive Games has on its game plan for the series.
When speaking to Game Informer last summer, Supermassive Games Managing Director Pete Samuels shared that more than a handful of entries for The Dark Picture Anthology was already planned to be distributed even before the arrival for Man of Medan. Samuels did comment that the team will continue developing for the series “until somebody tells us to stop”, he shared then.
Now, a new teaser trailer for the next installment for The Dark Pictures Anthology has been posted. Alike with the announcement for Little Hope, Supermassive Games deals the reveal in a similar fashion for The Dark Picture Anthology: House of Ashes. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
Scheduled for a 2021 release, more information is expected to be shared later on. However, Supermassive Games is working on other endeavors as well. Previously, the firm was announced to be partnering with Google to develop exclusive content for video game streaming platform Stadia. You can read the full report by heading here.
